There's not out of the box activity called 'Webchat. we currently record those under 'phone call'
I did not find any entity named "Webchat" as you mentioned, could you kindly share which channel did you know this?
There is only a chat named "Wechat" which is a kind of chat channel in Omnichannel.
not wechat, it's online 'chat with us' or 'livechat'. The question is how we record those? currently we all save them under 'task'.
You could create a custom entity called "LiveChat" and then add the fields you need in the form and store the records in it.
Go to Customiztions->Customise the System->Create new entity.
Web chats (in fact, all sorts of digital chats) are stored under Conversations, which are associated to the Contact record.
If you open an Advanced Find window, you'll be able to find this there.
