Most of our users when creating a connection for Contact/Account dont see User as a record type. I verified that they have org level read/append/append to access to User entity. They are able to see the user record but when they drill down using record type, it shows other entities but user. (see below) If I make them sys admin/customizer, it works fine but that's something I dont want to. Any idea, what privilege is missing?
1.Go Settings > security > Users to check which security role is assigned to these users who can’t see user type when create connections.
2.Go Settings > security > security role to click the security role.
Check the User entity privilege of the security role, you need ensure it has enough privilege.

Yes, I already did that. I gave them org level access to create, read, delete, write, append, append to for User entity but it didnt work.
It’s so strange, I can do it when I give it privilege with org level access.
It is possible cache problem, you can try to clear cache or change another browser or use privacy mode to test it again.
I know.I tried clearing cache and in incognito mode but it still doesnt work :(
