I want to add a condition that whenever the case is being resolved the remarks are added before resolving the case else it won't let resolve the case!
You can register plugin step on Create Message - Incident Resolution Entity - Pre-Operation
Then in C# plugin code check if Remark field is null in Target then thrown invalidpluginexecution message.
Create a real-time workflow that triggers when Status changes to Resolved.
The workflow then checks if the Remarks field is contains data. Then a "Stop" action step with outcome of "Cancel" prevents the save, and you can put a user message in the Stop action to say "Please enter a remark", which is popped up to the user.
