Everything works fine when i go to http://192.168.16.52:5555 BUT when i go
to http://machinename:5555 from remote machine,I get the error
HTTP Error 401. The requested resource requires user authentication.
Thanks in advance
Did you add the spns for that server?
If not, try that:
Yes, i have already added this one on app-server.
On app-server, it's working fine but when i go another remote machine on the network , it's not access-able.
But when i add spn for remote user, i access this. So i want to know that i have to add spn (HTTP/CRMAppServer) on every CRM User in active directory to access it.
No, you don't need to SPN for every user, just the administrator.
What do you mean by trying to go to another machine on the network?
Another machine on network means domain PC, is try to access CRM but it's not accessable without set spn on this user. that's why i am asking.
Would you please tell what's missing?
Thanks in advance.
Are you able to ping the client machine from your server and vice versa using the computer name. If yes are you facing this issue for a CRM user account with System admin security role assigned?
I would say Crete a new user account and add that user in CRM and give Domain admin and System admin security role and then see if you are able to access the web page from the domain machine with http://machinename:5555 or not.
