Hi!I need to make a backup of the database located on a remote computer on the local network. And the * .bak file should be on the working machine, not on the server.Tried:
BACKUP DATABASE TestDB
TO DISK = '\\MyPC\NetFolder\TestDB.Bak'
NAME = 'Full Backup of TestDB';
GOI got an errorMsg 3201, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 Cannot open backup device '\\MyPC\NetFolder\TestDB.Bak'. Operating system error 53(Network path not found.). Msg 3013, Level 16, State 1, Line 1 BACKUP DATABASE is terminating abnormally.Tell me, what's the problem and how to solve it?

If I had to guess, i think your restore job is pointing at a network disk (\\MyPC) that cannot be found. i suspect that you cannot access \\MyPC from Windows Explorer either.
