Hello all -
My name is Shawn live and direct from Las Vegas, Nevada.
I would like to become a certified user and i've registered with CustomerSource but I'm not sure what type of e-learning courses I should take. I'm a user for accounting purposes only and nothing to do with IT. Can someone help me out here? I guess I'm looking for some type of road map.
The best place to find out which certifications are right for you is to review the Learning Plans for Microsoft Dynamics GP. You can find the Learning Plans on CustomerSource at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/news/learningplansCV.htm.
For your role in accounting , there are two certifications I would recommend, the first is a Specialist level certification which requires you to pass only one exam. That certification is Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Specialist - Financials for Microsoft Dynamics™ GP, you can find more information on that certification on CustomerSource at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/training/certifications/professional/MBS_GP_PrepGuides.htm#3.
The second, and more advanced certification I would recommend is the Professional level certification titled Microsoft Certified Business Management Solutions Professional–Application for Microsoft Dynamics GP. That certification requires that you take several exams. You can find details on that certification on CustomerSource at https://mbs.microsoft.com/customersource/training/certifications/master/MBS_Master_GP_App.htm.
