On my form in Dynamics 365 I have a Yes/No field. This is a default field, and a business rule locks or unlocks the field. This business rule ignores the state of the form, so whether the form is active or inactive doesn’t matter. If the conditions of the business rule are met, the field is unlocked, and otherwise it is locked, and this works exactly as expected.
By default, a boolean field is a dropdown where you can choose between Yes and No. But there is an option to activate a component called “In-/uitschakelen” which changes the dropdown into a switch.
However, when this component is enabled, the business rule no longer works as expected, because the switch becomes inactive when the form is inactive and vice versa.
This clearly seems like a bug — has anyone else experienced this?
