Hi:

Doesn't the "Qty. to Receive" field on the Purchase Order fill in automatically, or do you have to always manually fill it in?

Qty. to Receive in Purchase Order

Yes, Check the below setting in purchases & payable.

The Default Qty to Receive field in purchase orders has two options: Remainder and Blank.

Remainder: Automatically defaults to the remaining quantity on the order (quantity less quantity shipped).

Blank: Requires users to manually enter the quantity to receive before posting.

Use Remainder for full deliveries and Blank if you often receive partial orders or want to reduce posting errors.
