We have a use case where we have complex survey to be done out of D365 CRM. Upon researching, Power Pages Multi Step Form is a feature that is liked the most because:
- It enables users/customers to partially save the data while doing the survey, so that when they come back to resume, they will be displayed with the page where they left
- Some data can be prepopulated; i.e.: name, previous survey data, etc.
- Seamless integration, no need to save the survey in other storage, dataverse can be leveraged as the data source.
Now, the question is, if we want to implement this with unauthenticated version, is it possible? The hesitation here is because we are exposing CRM Data, eventhough guid is unique, but if the the survey link is accidentally passed to other individuals byt the users, there is a security risk. I have heard about implementing Invitation ID + Verification Code along to enhance security if we do not want to go with authorized version, however, how practical will that be? I have only found resource about Invitation ID to invite users to create login for the Power Pages site. Appreciate any input and suggestions, thanks.
