How to download Symbol in AL extension of VS Code from Prod Environment of Business Central?

Hi All,

I am facing an issue while downloading the symbol and debugging the custom API for Production environment of Business Central for AL extension. Anybody can please help me to sort this issue.

Hi,

In SAAS Version, this is not available. If it is on-prem, then system allow the AL symbol directly from production environment.

How to download Symbol in AL extension of VS Code from Prod Environment of Business Central?

The production environment is not for development. So you cannot connect to the production environment through VS Code. Includes normal debugging and downloading symbol files.

The easiest way is to copy the environment to Sandbox, then connect Sandbox for debugging.

PS: The production environment supports Snapshot Debugging, but this is different from normal debugging.
