Saved changes in code are not saved

Posted on by 543

When I make changes in my Axapta 4.0 application, some of them are not saved. I do this:

- Make some lines in a class or add a field to a form.

- Save the changes.

- Compile.

- Test the change.

- Exit Axapta and start it again.

- Now my changes are gone.

Often I can make this work if I after compilation export my project and import it again.

I've read somewhere that it might be because the license is not a developer license. How do I see what kind of license it is?

    Hi Martin.

In the "LIcense information", you showed me where to find, I can see that I don't have a X++ source code license.

    Thank you very much!

I also think you don't have the license (X++ source code).

The menu path for license information should be something like Administration > Setup > System > License information.
