Hello
Has anyone found a solution to how to copy an archived document for use in BC? For example, say I have an archived sales order and I want to copy it (not restore it) to create a new sales order. Ditto with service orders, quotes, etc.

Its a common issue, you can vote for the idea to add it to business central here Microsoft Idea

Thanks all for the input. My main issue now is around Service orders and service quotes. There does not seem to be a copy document button available on any of the menus listed.

One thing to note is that it is not possible to copy a sales archive document to create service orders.
Sales Order and Sales Quote are OK.

    Thanks.

You can use the Copy from Document action to reuse the content from an archived document:

You can use the Copy Document function. For example, in a sales order:

    Hello,

I think you might have misunderstood the flow, you don't copy from the archived document.

You create a new sales order, run the "Copy Document" function and choose the archived document instead.
