a. XrmToolBox, Plugin Registration Tool, BIDS extension (SSRS Report toolkit), SSDT tool, Sitemap Editor, Ribbon solution, CRM Rest Builder

2. difference between online and onpremise ?
In online and on-premise version of CRM is differentiate upon location of server that CRM use.
In case of CRM online it uses cloud database where as on-premise you need to install on local server in your machine or organization server.

It simply means that CRM provided feature(in built) that you could use without use of new development or using work around such as workflow, business rules etc.
4. difference bet ween 2016 and d365 ?
More or less in CRM every new version you could see new features that help us to improve use accessibility as well as development process.
You will be able to see two new versions of CRM after 2016.
