Hi everybody,
I would like to understand a bit more about what could be seen by a HR Administrator and a basic Employee.
I have already open a Free trial Dynamics HR and created 2 users, the First one is the administrator "Global I guess" and he could see all the compensations and benefits and edit every single master data. In addiciont I created a new user to use it as a basic employee and see what he could see and what he can't. Unfortunatelly the error I get when I try login with the second "basic" user into HR is "You are not authorized to login with your current credentials. You will be redirected to the login page in a few seconds.".
Can enyone help me to understand what i am doing wrong? I just understand what different roles would see.
Thanks a lot :) newbie at (Dynamics HR)
Yeap, I created it. (my mistake) I will create a new environment to carry on with the test. Thanks Parag !
Hi,
Who has created this environment?
If it was you and if you removed the system admin access then you can create another trial environment or request Microsoft to provide admin access to earlier environment.
Is there anyway to create another admin or reset my role in my main account? You'll see, trying to reset my basic employee account I removed the System Admin Role from my Main account (the administrator one). Now I can see that I don't have access to all the menu options I used to have. Is there any way to get my System Admin Role back or I just will need to create a new environment ?
Just the same message.
Just for testing, can you assign that employee as a system admin rights and check again?
Hi, both have the same Provider: https://sts.windows.net/
Can you show me the provider name for both users?
Click on the users then you will see the field called Provider. It should be the same for both users.
Hi Parag, thanks for your quick answer.
I can confirm you that the user has Employee and System User roles assigned. It is active as well.
I am not sure if it could be an error from HR or coming from the Microsoft 365 administration Center. Within the Microsft Admin Center I added all the available roles so as to be sure the error is not coming from there, anyway I keep getting the same error. Not Enough Credentials :(
Hi GusMono,
As a System Admin, You have access to the whole system.
As an employee, you have limited options.
Can you please confirm whether the basic employee has a role Employee and System user?
Also, verify whether the user is enabled in the system.
If the user is enabled and has access to employee and system user roles then you can directly log in.
For example: Use the homepage URL for employees then it should work.
