Need to use the connection sub grid with "+" button in one of the custom entity. This option is not available for blogs suggests it not possible to achieve the results. As views

This is not a supported configuration because the connection entity is not 'refreshed' - you can use my 'refreshed connection ui' - see develop1.net/.../Refresh-Connections-UI-Solution.aspx
