Query on Bank Recon

Hi

When we import our bank statement, a cash amount/cash payin appears on the bank rec worksheet as a CR amount, which from a bank transaction perspective is correct.

On the ledger side, cash received would be posted to the bank GL as a DR, which again is correct

While reconciling automatically, will the system automatically assume this rule that in our books it is debit and in bank statement it is credit and reconcile automatically is the matching rule is provided as Date+ Amount but must we give a instruction in matching rule that in bank statement it is CR then we can to look into Dr entry in our books

Regards
Prasad

Is this a BAI2 file type?  If you have the correct bank transaction code mapped to the appropriate bank transaction type, then you don't need to worry about debits vs. credits.
