RE: Recent cases not showing for contacts
Hi partner,
This is by design, each sub-grid can only display related records of one relationship. The Contact field and the Customer field correspond to two different relationships, even if they both have Contact as the related entity.
So we need to add a sub-grid to the Contact form to display the relevant records of the Contact field of the Case.
Go to Settings > Customizations > Customize the System, expand Entities > Contact > Forms, edit the main form you are using.


Click RELATED reference panel, then insert a sub-grid, select Entity to Cases(Contact). Save and publish.

This way, the case will display in the new sub-grid.
