In the Customer Voice data model, how can I identify which section a question is in?
I have created sections for a survey and need to know which questions are in which section. I can't seem to easily find this within the database model. Any help is appreciated.
I have found a way to get some informations but not sure if sections are in there
1. I would avoid to use it in production.
2. You need a Survey with 2 languages (you will get informations for the translations)
From the msfp_survey table you have to get the form id and the owner id.
Form id is the msfp_sourcesurveyidentifier
owner id is systemuser/azureactivedirectoryobjectid
With that you just need to build the following url :
and language=en-US, for example
"customervoice.microsoft.com/.../'{language}'
This is what I was afraid of.
I wanted to avoid essentially numbering every question within the question, but looks like that is at least a workaround.

The information is just not there :(
Beware about multi-lingual environments : translations are not in msfp table either (no idea where to find them)
I would like to post smwhere an Idea to add the possibility to add tags to any objects in the datamodel (using msfp_otherproperties field); so despite there is no section info in the datamodel, we could manually add a tag to identify the section the quesiton belongs to
