Creating new search filters in Advanced Find

Hi,

As a system administrator, I am having trouble creating a Dashboard view on Sales Stage changes for the last 7 days. 

to solve this problem, I want to create a new view through 'Advanced Find', named Modified by stage

and then use 'modified on' the last 7 days thereafter.   

How do I create a new search filter in advanced find?

    You may have to create additional datetime fields to track the dates when every particular stage has been reached (can probably do it using a workflow). Then you might use those fields in the filters.

    I want to be able to see what the sales stage has changed into within the last 7 days.

    eg. say going from sales stage 1 to sales stage 2 in the last 7 days
