Delete mapping Lead 2 Opportunity (Topic\Opp.Number)

Posted on by 111

Hi everyone,

on our CRM environment we installed an Autonumber (Microsoft) that assign a progressive value to the Opportunity number (whole number). The Autonumber can't assign any number if the Opp. Number isn't blank.

2 months ago Microsoft starts to publish a mapping between Lead and Opportunity (Topic 2 Opp. Number). When someone create an Opportunity from a Lead, the Opp. Number takes the value by the Topics, so it isn't blank and the Autonumber can't assign the progressive number....

Yesterday, I noticed this settings on our CRM, I tried to delete it but I got this response from the system:

Is there anyone with the same issue?

Thanks for your help.

I deleted this mapping successfully in my environment.

    My current version:

    As one workaround:
You can create one custom column in the opportunity to replace original 'Opp.Number' column.
Make this custom column type is autonumber.
Then remove original column and add new custom column everywhere.
Or you can open one ticket for Microsoft support team to confirm your mapping deletion error:
