After the new Wave 1 2022 update our e-mail templates generate a "i" message:
"This email was created in an older version of the email editor or is using custom HTML code, and in some rare cases editing it now may cause layout issues." It only prompts it "may" cause layout issues.
What is best to do? Recreate the whole template? Or leave it as it is?
I'm also curious about this. We have created our templates no more than 8 months ago and have been receiving this message for more than 6 months. It doesn't really affect the template in the builder, we only have issues with editing the separate content blocks. With some help from HTML specialists we were able to fix this. I'd like to know what the new editor is, since Microsoft says this is build in the older version, and how we can transition to it and also how we make sure we don't have to repeat this every 6 months.
Hi Steve,
Appriciate the response, however im not clear what this does?
Hi Peter Beentjes,
How many email template exists in your environment? If a lot, you can recreate a few commonly used ones first. Otherwise, you could recreate the whole template.
