Hello,

The connection showing green only confirms that the connector was created; the error occurs during the MCP initialize call, before Copilot Studio can discover the available Business Central tools. The ODataAuthorizationAlreadyProvidedException specifically points to an authentication/connector issue rather than a missing MCP tool. I would first delete and recreate the Business Central connection used by the MCP tool, ensure the signed-in user has access to the target BC environment/company and the required MCP permissions, then remove and add the MCP tool again in Copilot Studio. Also verify that the Business Central MCP Server is enabled and that the expected API pages/configuration are exposed. If the same error remains with a fresh connection, this looks like a connector/platform issue and should be raised with Microsoft support, especially since the failure happens during initialize.

Still same error, previously till monday it was workign fine but after that same issue, even i tried other envs same issues in that as well.

Hi,

that error means the Word layout has a content control bound to a path that does not exist in the report's actual dataset. Your layout expects PostingDescription under Header, but the report the layout is attached to doesn't publish that column, so the binding is dangling.
Usual cause is the layout got its custom XML part from an older run, you added the column in AL after generating the layout, or you built the layout against your extended report but are uploading it onto the base Microsoft report which never had that field. Also worth checking the field really is in the dataitem that ends up as Header in the XML part, if you added it under a different dataitem it will not appear at that path even though the AL compiles fine.

Cleanest fix, from the Report Layouts page run Export Layout on your modified report to get a fresh Word file with the current schema, add your PostingDescription control in that copy, then import it back. Do not reuse the old docx.
Did you add the field to a report extension of 1306, or a full copy of the report as your own object?

Hi, first thing I would check is the Inputs on the tool, not the connection itself. Environment and Company have to be selected there, if they stay empty the call goes to a path that doesn't resolve and you get exactly this notFound on initialize. Same thing if the MCP Server Configuration name you typed doesn't match the one in BC.
Then in BC search Model Context Protocol (MCP) Server Configurations in Tell Me, page 8351 as far as I remember. The configuration must be Active and have tools added under Available Tools, otherwise nothing comes back to Copilot Studio. And don't panic if you only see bc_actions_search, bc_actions_describe and bc_actions_invoke — with dynamic tool mode that is expected, the API page tools resolve at runtime, they're not listed in the designer.
The ODataAuthorizationAlreadyProvided one I seen when the connection is stale. Delete the connection completely and create a new one, then hit the refresh icon on the Tools tab.
