Hello,

when using BC, SaaS , v16 and v17, I need help for setup Cash Flow Forecast - Worksheet, and Suggest Worksheet lines, it does not set me entries from G/L Budget (as a source type) that I have put.

Other source types (receivables, sales orders, payables etc.) are working.

What I am doing wrong for this?

I cannot find concrete info/docs example etc., who is using G/L Budget entries in Cash flow forecast also.

Here is example that returns me empty rows.

    Hi,

    1. Please verify that the Budget that you have specified have G/L Budget entries. If it has then fine just note for which date range these entries are.

    2. Now open the Cash Flow Forecast that is first in options and see what is the date set for G/L budget entries there and is that date range have some entries for G/L Budget.

Hello, thank you for prompt reply, I do confirm dates are entered and correct, and I have values in this period.

What about "Chart of Cash Flow Accounts", anything needs to be done there? (i do not have with source type g/l budget)

Yes, you need to do setup at Cash Flow Accounts if you have not done before. May be you already know you can link one cash flow account to all G/L account budget entries. So do this setup and I am hopeful it will work. Let me know if still issue.

I do not know / understand what I am doing wrong.

I also tried to add temporary new for G/L Buget source type, but unsure hot wo configure it, i tried several times, but still suggest lines in worksheet, does not give me lines for my budgets in cash flow.

    Ok, good.

What about the "G/L Integration" field on the Cash Flow Account Card page?

This needs to be set to "Budget".

And what about the "G/L Account Filter" on the same page?

Did you specify a filter for G/L Accounts for which you entered G/L Budgets for that period?

The "Source Type" should be set to "G/L Budget"

Please post the Budget card for YEAR-2021

I have tried, but still zero results

    - change G/L integration to Budget only

    - remove filtering (to include all records)

    - source type is G/L Budget

I have in G/L budget, correct account numbers, amounts, and dates, and Budgeting works by itself. I just can not get those records to Cash flow also :/
