It used to be that after left clicking on a lookup field, we could type a character and have the text value of the field be replaced by that character (so we don't need to delete what's already in there).
Now, we must hit delete and hold it until all the characters are deleted before entering in a new value.
How can we revert it back to the old behavior? There is literally no case when we would want to keep the existing text in a lookup field if we are changing its value.
Whoever decided and approved this change at Microsoft should be lectured severely about awful UI decisions.

I think it's a bug, really. Not sure if it was submitted.. I don't know of any way to revert, it's on my list of the things we've lost:)

BTW, it seems to be still working in the old forms (Service Activity, for example)
