Hi,
Whenever i create a new account, i need to send an email with the newly inserted account details.
Another scenario, after creating new account, i need to write the details in an excel sheet and save in a physical location.
Can you pls suggest me to do this... ?

You can write a System Workflow (on create of Account entity) in order to send the Email Notification with the newly inserted account details. Plenty of articles you can find over the internet to get the steps.
For saving the record details in Excel, I would recommend to go with Word/Excel Template. I can suggest following article to start with.

You'll have to write a workflow on Account creation to send an automatic email, you can add account details in the email body.

*Note - select entity as Account while creating a workflow.

You can for sending email on new record creation you can use workflow which is out of the box functionality, below is the link where opportunity is getting creating and on that email is getting triggered, Replace opportunity with account,
