Trigger Plugin on BPF Switch from UI

Posted on by 15

Dear,

if got an Plugin which saves the actual Stage Name on incident into an custom field. This Works so far. My problem is that if someone changes the process from the ui, my plugin doesn't trigger. How should my step need to look for that?

Actual i'm looking for Update on my BPF entity on the attribute "activestageid". How ever, this works, if the process doenst switch.

Someone got an idea?

    Hey Uma,

can you give me an example how i can trigger a workflow from bpf?

Also, my plugin works. I'm getting the stage name by update/create on my bpf-entity. But the plugin does not trigger if i'm selecting "process switch" and switch the process from my incident.

    Hi Kevin,

In CRM Version 9.0 . We can trigger the workflow from the Business Process flow when stage enter and exit .

if still you want to go with plugin . In the recent updates when you create a BPF with the same name custom entity will be created. whenever the stage changes one record will created in that entity. so you can register the plugin on that entity record create/update.
