Can we upgrade CRM 2015 on premise to use the latest ReportViewer control 14.0.0.0

Hi All,

We are using CRM 2015 OnPremise enviroment and have CRM reports being used. We got use Chrome and want to have the Print feature enabled.I know we have the open issue, so have to download and print as PDF in Chrome.

I see the latest version of ReportViewer control has the enhancements that SSRS 2016 is providing, below is the link.

I want to know if we can upgrade the report viewer used in CRM 2015 to this latest version(14.0.0.0), if possible how do we do that?

another idea .. you can render your report to MHTML and show it on HTML page or web resource using javascript and then users will print HTML page.

Thanks for the response Mahadeo,

I see there is not fix or update till now on CRM 2015, Do you see an alternate/ unsupported way to get the print button functionality on Chrome and Firefox?

Hi,

I don't think so you will able to upgrade report viewer..

You need to look into CRM 2015 recent updates.. if there is any fix for this issue.
