Export to flat CSV

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

I would like to export a Sales ledger (at the detail level) as a flat CSV file. I am using NAV 2015.  Any help on how to achieve this would be most appreciated.

Thanks,

Ben

You have two easy methods to do this.

1.You can use RapidStart Services to export data : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh179428(v=nav.70).aspx

    2. Or you can use XML ports to export data : https://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh167691(v=nav.70).aspx

    Hi Bleah,

If you need it frequently, you should have your software vendor make it. Otherwise, you can save the report as excel, copy data part to new excel file, then save it as csv format.

Hi, I really after a way just to export the standard report "Aged Accounts Receivable" to a flat CSV file , so that each item appears on it's row. e.g.

    AA1, Customer Name, 12/03/2003, Invoice, 567.44.....
