Leave and absence types setup

Hi,

In setup of leave absence types, how is "Category" used? may I confirm if its just for tagging only (None, Scheduled, Unscheduled) or does it have an impact on leave application, other setup etc.?

Hi dianneb - I've never found any other setup where the category is relevant. I've just checked the fields available for conditional decisions in absence related workflows, and it's not available there, so I'd have to conclude that it's just for tagging. Unless of course it's been added to support some future feature that we can't see yet.
