Hi,

We have a requirement to define a Sell-to customer against a job which essentially represents a branch but which has an associated Bill-to customer for the head office.

The requirement to have the sell-to customer as the branch is predominantly to enable the preceding opportunity to be recorded against a contact at a particular branch.

Standard NAV does not seem to support Jobs against Sell-to customers.

Has anybody had any experience of something similar/have any suggestions as to how this could be best resolved?

Cant you use Sales orders for your function , Is it too tight with Job function ?

Hi,

I am not aware of a standard way of handling different sell-to customer numbers on a job. From the sounds of it you are happy with the billing going to the head office but need to specify which branch the job relates to. Have you considered using a dimension to indicate which Sell-to Customer the job relates to? It would mean that you would have to setup a customer dimension for each sell-to customer and you would still need to manually select it.
