InvalidPluginExecutionException custom messages are not displayed on Business Process Error pop-up

Hi since a couple of days all of our plugin execution custom messages (thrown by InvalidPluginExecutionException) are not displayed on the pop-up error form anymore. To see the error message you need to download the associated log file which is unacceptable from a user experience perspective.

This pattern for sending feedback to the user have been working for years and it would be a major problem for us to refactor all of our code bases.  

Does anyone else have the same issue?

    Thanks for information!

    Same happened with our environment and they (MS) rolled out update version 9.1.0.641 on all our environment .

    And issue is solved now !

    FYI our environments were upgraded to 9.1.0.641 overnight and error messages have returned.

    Hi Abijeet, no I don't have a link for the issue. However the latest update I have from MSFT is "As discussed, we identified this a known issue and currently our backend team has scheduled a fix by coming weekend."

    Confirmed this is a MSFT issue. Running 9.1.0.638 and all stop workflow statements as part of real time workflows receive the ISV code error. I have an active ticket with MSFT, and they have advised it's a known issue which they had rolled out a fix for, however the issue still exists in my version. Further investigation is occurring with the product team.

    Seems to be Microsoft issues. Existing plugins started throwing ISV error recently.

    I just received an update from my case at MSFT. They said they identified the problem and it will be resolved in a future patch.

    I have noticed this with you customers also, they are now having to download the error log which simply won't do.

    I'm assuming an update has knocked this out ?

    Same issue with realtime workflows, ISV code aborted message when you do a stop workflow "Cancelled" step and put your own message for it.  Good one MSFT.... break something that has been working fine for years.
