Date value in CE is getting as one day less in F&O when fields mapped through dual write

Hi there,

I have mapped a field of data type date in F&O with a field of data type date time in CE. After mapping it didn't gave any error and when I created a record in F&O the same record is getting created in CE and the value of date in CE is same as the value in F&O but when I did vice versa which means when I create a record in CE a new record is getting created in F&O but date field value in F&O is getting one day less than exact date from CE. Is it happening because I have mapped a field of data type date in F&O with a field of data type date time in CE?

And another issue is whenever I'm saving record or update record in CE every time it is creating a new record in F&O instead of updating existing records in F&O. Kindly, suggest to me if I did anything wrong or if there is any solution for this.

I have the same question (0)

    Hi,

Suggest you enable and view the plug-in trace log in Dataverse to view error details, you can refer to the MS document as followed:

    I suspect it's about timezones.

Please check out what values you have in F&O database. Don't forget that database contains datetime value in UTC, but what you see in GUI is after applying your timezone (which may result in a different date).

For example, it's possible that you consider CE values as in your local timezone, but you stored it in F&O database without removing the timezine offset, which gives you wrong result.
