HQ Client connection timing problem

Hi,  Lately I have had a problem where my HQ Client polls the HQ Server just a few seconds too early for my 401 worksheet to run.  We have a lot of stores and this seems to happen to a few stores every few days.  Is there a way that I can minimize the likelihood of this occurring?  I'm not sure, but I think it mostly happens with stores in a westward time zone from the HQ.
