The plug-in execution failed because the operation has timed-out at the Sandbox Client

Hi All, I am executing load performance testing for Maximum user count 50 and getting timeout error in the custom workflow actions.

Sync workflow failed with error message - Unhandled Exception: Microsoft.Crm.Workflow.Services.InvalidCustomActivityExecutionException: The plug-in execution failed because the operation has timed-out at the Sandbox Client.
System.TimeoutException: Microsoft Dynamics CRM has experienced an error. Reference number for administrators or support: #94691529

    Andrew, Yes I have restarted but facing the same issue.

    Have you restarted services after you applied changes?

    Andrew, Yes we have onprem .  I did apply the same settings to backend (sandbox) sever but no luck. Will it work for CRM Version 2016?

    If you're online - you can't increase that setting.

    Hi Khoa, Thank you very much for your response. Can we increase 2 minutes of execution of time. We have 2-3 syn custom workflow activities which are executing more that 2 minutes.

    I am getting timeout errors in the work flow process log -"The plug-in execution failed because the operation has timed-out at the Sandbox Client".  Why this error is getting? Any Hotfix/solution for this?

    Hi Ram. In sandbox mode, all plugins, custom workflow activities, custom workflow actions will be terminated when they exceed 2 minutes of execution time. Try to narrow your number of records to process in your code, or move the heavy task to something else such as an external console app/service.
