How can we import only selected (4-5) customized user roles & related duties, privileges from one environment to another?
You can export your security configuration using the System Security data entities, then import them into your other environment. You can use the filters in the export configuration to only select the roles you wish to export, or you can manually isolate them after exporting the complete list.

Morgan shared the answer for using data management. Ensure you will also move related privileges and duties. When you filter roles, it is a tedious job to check which duties and privileges are related to the security roles you want to move.
