Failure to Export large number of records

I'm trying to export a very large number of records from CRM 2016 but it doesn't ever complete or give me an error, it's just hangs forever. I just get the "Exporting to Excel" window and nothing happens. Any ideas?

thanks for the suggestion! it should be able to export 10s of 1000s without any problem though shouldn't it?

You can use XRMtoolbox Export to Excel plugin. I was able to export 600K+ records.

Hi Vishnu,

Thanks for the quick response! Yes, this is via advanced find. There will be 10s of thousands but I wouldn't have thought it would be a problem. It worked fine in 2011 with very similar size exports.

Are you trying this through advanced find? How many records probably would be there in the system which are ready for export?
