Hello Everyone,
I'd like clarification on the current D365 Business Central On Premise Licensing Guide where it says:
"Business Central, on-premises may be deployed in a multitenant environment where, by definition, the OSE (operating system environment) is not dedicated to the customer. In such case, customers are required to install their license key in the tenant database. This exception to the license mobility requirement that the OSE be dedicated to the customer only applies to the Business Central, on-premises software and not to any of the other Microsoft components required for their solution to run"
If the OSE is dedicated to only one customer, does anyone know if that means that every database in multi-tenant environment must have separate license?
Thanks BC Team
That was my thought...thank you for confirming!
Hi, hope the following can give you some hints.
Thanks.

Yes, that is my understanding that you will need a separate license for each of your tenant databases.
One BC license is for one database.
