Does Microsoft have any type of activity tracking besides Projects. Looking to track time against different activity throughout a period of time. The activity would be reflected in the GL account, likely the a sub account. Wanting to avoid setting up multiple pay codes to reflect activity. Your response is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

You might consider the Analytical Accounting Module which integrates to payroll.

I am not aware of any fields for tracking this specifically (other than Project, as you mentioned). However, you could consider using Department for this on the payroll transaction. The Pay Code and Department Code association can then determine which GL account to link to.
