Create Sales Order with one warehouse , invoicing from another warehouses

I have a sales order with one line item X have 10 units for warehouse 001. When registering the invoice, the system took inventory and sold from another warehouses: 4 units from warehouse 002 and 6 units from warehouse 003. Is this funcionality standard in Dynamics 365 SCM? Where do I configure the system to do this?

Hello,

The cause of this behavior has been identified as follows: if the warehouse is not mandatory in the sales order, a line can be created without a warehouse and the system makes the reservation in the available warehouses.

Hi

As Andre rightly pointed out please check the setup on storage dimension group and look for the 'Primary stocking' check mark.

Ideally this should be checked. Please confirm if this is unchecked in your case. If it is unchecked it is possible to ship from other warehouse.

The issue occurs when an automatic reservation is made on the sales order line. How is it possible for the system to perform this functionality? How is it configured?

Hi,

This should not happen with a proper setup. Can you share the settings you have on the storage dimension group for these items? Most likely, the Primary stocking checkbox is not enabled on the warehouse setting.
