Hi All,

I am receiving below error(as shown below) while start debugging in Visual studio in Dev VM, using D365FO v10 system. Due to this issue not able to perform debugging, Any thought process is highly appreciated.

I have tried following options but no luck

  • Executed full build compilation
  • Restarted IIS & Batch service
  • Restarted IIS express
  • Loaded all the symbols required

    Hi Ganesh,

Have you check  C:\ AOSService \ PackagesLocalDirectory \ Bin \ XppSource.

Besides that, I think you should uncheck  "Load symbols only for itmes in the solution", and you may need to reboot your VM.

Did you make any changes before this problem arose?

    Hi Ganesh,

Do you get this error in a Azure hosted VM (dev/demo or customer build environment)? Or on a local hosted preconfigured OneBox VM?

Do you have an X++ project open?

By the way, I don't think the last link (about C# debugging) is relevant, because the problem is specific to X++. It's about locating the .xpp file generated from the source file (.xml).

    Hi,

I also think if you open any existing project before debugging then it might solve ur issue

    Thanks,
