Extended Pricing

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I have a question about the Extended Pricing module. We would like to setup our pricing based on customers meaning that each customer has a set prices different from each other for the same products. Additionally, depending on the Ship To address ID or location that is selected on the Sales Order, we'd like the prices to be different as well. Is it possible to configure this with extended pricing. Here's an example:

We have three items:

ITEM01

ITEM02

ITEM03

Customer A would have these default prices:

ITEM01 - $5

ITEM02 - $10

ITEM03 - $15

Customer B would have these default prices:

ITEM01 - $7

ITEM02 - $12

ITEM03 - $17

However, if on the Sales Order for Customer A has a Ship To location of NY, the prices for the items can be selected from the default as:

ITEM01 - $6

ITEM02 - $11

ITEM03 - $16

What do you suggest to configure this?

Thanks

No, that's is not available in Extended Pricing.

I do believe that a customer should have one pricing criteria. Further business needs may require customized as mentioned above.

For Extended pricing, is it possible to setup  two Price Sheets for a customer that can be used interchangeably on a SOP order? for example, if the SOP order for customer A is shipping to address 1, I can choose to use Price Sheet 1. If it is shipping to address 2, I can use Price Sheet 2?

Yes. Rockton's Omni Pricing Product can do this or create a customization.

I would check to see if Rockton's Omni Price product can do this:  www.rocktonsoftware.com/.../Product.aspx

    RE: Extended Pricing

The first scenario is possible - customer-based pricing.  But there is no setting in Extended Pricing that will accommodate address-based pricing.
