Disqualify a Lead with a Workflow

Posted on by Microsoft Employee

Hello,

I'm working on creating a workflow that will disqualify a lead record. I can set the status as disqualified, but I can't seem to select a specific status reason as to why the lead was disqualified. I would like to select a status reason other than the default status reason of lost. Would anyone happen to know how I could do this?

Thanks so much!

David

    Hi David,

Yes it is possible, if you want to change status to "Cannot Contact", "no Longer Interested or anything else, perform following steps.

    in your work flow

    1)select click "Add Step"

    2) Select second last option from drop down ie "Change Status".

    3) You will get 2 drop downs, Select the status from second drop down.

    4) Save and activate.
