Hi,
we have an issue were our customer licenes where the Dynamics 365 product key doesn't work in the dynamics server installation application.
This means that we can't update our organisations from 8.2 to 9.0.2. All keys work with 8.2 and 2016.
We retrieve the keys from ParterSource, and there only keys for 2015, 2016 and Dynamics 365 (8.2) is visible.
I know that there is a 3 month trial key available that works with the installation, but have you been able to retrieve a new key through PartnerSource or somewhere else to successfully upgrade Dynamics 365 onprem from 8.2 to 9.0.2? Or were you able to use your old product/serial key that you used with 8.2 in 9.0.2 aswell?
Contacted both PartnerSource support, CSP Team support, our CSP partner, and Microsoft directly without any answers so far.

Woth to mention is that if you retrieved keys back in February when they were released and are starting to get license is about to expire errors.
Logg back in to partnersource and retrieve a new key (they have been updated).
The keys has now been released to Partnersource businesscenter.
If you load the product keys page for your customer a Dynamics 365 9 row has been added witht the key
I finally have a key.
This is what I did.
We had a MSDN Enterprise subscription.
I created a ticket through the partnersource portal, and referenced those keys and were sent a key for the 9.0 installation.
Regarding VLSC if you bought licenses through EA, apparently, download the install file and you should have a .txt file with the key.
There is still no work on when they will update partnersource to show valid keys for the 9.0 installation, but I hope that they will update it soon since its the only way for us as a partner to retrieve the keys if we bought them through CSP.
Note: I'm still not able to upgrade an 8.2 or 8.3 installation to 9.0 with the public release of 9.0 onpremise. It works with a clean installation though.

I just know the trial run Online Instance. Do you mean the OP 90 day Trial key has expired?
If it is, I would suggest to raise a ticket to escalate the issue as it already has brought great impaction on your OP environment if it's already been down.
Otherwise , I would still contact and follow up on the product key released specific time. Thanks.

I am really sorry about this questions which make you so confused. I just checked the chat list from Yammer and there's still no notified which date at February the key would be released. I just contact related support to access the available date. Pls wait patiently for a while.
In addition , there's a supplement from Billing that another email thread on this topic and the outcome was just use the 90 Trial key for now and when the Partners and ISVs get access in a few weeks they can update it then.

i've been reading your reply but waited until now to respond to give Microsoft more time investigating/thinking about when to inform their partners/customers that are now in the dark.
Do you have any update regarding when in February the keys will be released? Have Microsoft thought about going out with official information to their own Employees/partners?

Dear All,
All the partners are expected to receive the key in February 2019 all at once. The info comes from the ISV himself and was communicated in one of the partner webinars.
