Getting pop up message.

Hello Guys,

while trying to create the lead i am getting the pop up which says.

"This record might be a duplicate of an existing record.Review the potential duplicates and decide whether to update the record anyway."

I understand the point.

but what causes this message to come up.

    Hello!

    A CTI solution such as Tenfold not only will allow integration between Asterisk and your CRM but also allow users to have features like call pop up which shows the details of the customer regardless if it's an incoming or outgoing call as long as there's a match from your CRM record; and a click to dial features which turns any found phone numbers (web, spreadsheets, etc) and make them click to dial.     Duplicate Detection Rule is enabled for your entity disable it.

    Hi

    This is because of duplicate detection rule applied in your system. Based on the duplication detection rule if found data is duplicate and do you want to continue to save the record or you want to change.

    In your system go to Settings > Data Management->Duplicate Detection Rules

    There me must be a duplicate Detection Rule on Lead entity.

    Go to Settings>> Data Management>>Duplicate Detection Rules and look for Rule on Lead. You can change the condition of duplicate detection or Deactivate the Rule if you want to create duplicate records.

    Hi,

    This occurs due to the duplicate detection feature in dynamics CRM. You can see your duplicate detection rules when you navigate to 

    Settings --> Data Management --> Duplicate Detection Rules

    The duplicate detection feature can be used to prompt you if you are trying to create a record which is a duplicate of one or more records already present in the system. Also, if you modify an existing record which causes it to become a duplicate of an already existing record, the system will prompt you about the same. You can choose to cancel the creation or updating of the duplicate record or save the duplicate anyway.
