Internet Explorer cannot display the webpage when accessing Customer&Partner Source sites

Hi!

As mentioned in the title, the problem is that I cannot access neither Customer or Partner Source websites in Internet Explorer 9.

I tried to delete temp files, cookies etc, to restore adv settings, reset IE  settings... none of these helped.

When accessing the links mbs.microsoft.com/customersource and https://mbs2.microsoft.com/ the redirect to the login URL is not made and the browser displays that cannot display the webpage.

However with Firefox, on the same computer, I can access the CS/PS extranets without any problem, but I cannot use File Transfer Manager with it so I'm stuck with this issue...

    I have someone experiencing the same issue but their TLS options are correct. Is there an IE configuration document outlining the required settings to access the site?

    Resetting IE didn't help.

    Actually, this way I noticed that restoring default IE9 settings (the button above reset IE option), sets only TLS1.0 checked which caused the above issue.

    I checked TLS1.2 and the problem was solved!

    C@ML,

    You might want to try and reset your IE settings. Since this is browser sensitive it leads us to believe it's a settings issue. Here's a link on how to reset your IE9 Settings: windows.microsoft.com/.../Reset-Internet-Explorer-settings-in-Internet-Explorer-9 . Make sure you read all the warnings based on when you reset your settings you can not change them back.

    Please let us know if this resolves the issue.

    On another computer with similar configuration as mine (Win 7 Pro x64, Internet Explorer 9, joined on the same Windows domain) it works. Only I have this issue; unfortunately I don't know what triggered this behaviour; in the past it worked... but most probably it was before I had to reinstall my OS (one month ago).

    Meanwhile, I managed to logon to PartnerSource using XP Mode and Internet Explorer 8.

    Thanks for posting this issue. Did this issue just start? If you try accessing CustomerSource or PartnerSource on another computer on the same network can you get logged in using IE9? If this doesn't work do you know if there were any network security changes?
