Enable Change tracking for Project posted transaction Data Entities - Data source ProjPostTransview uses view and has child data sources. Only views used in data sources without child data sources are supported for change tracking

Dears...

While trying to enable change tracking of Project posted transactions data entities, resulting message is shared below.  "Data source ProjPostTransview uses view and has child data sources. Only views used in data sources without child data sources are supported for change tracking"

As per the information message stating that the entities does have view in side the child data source which is not allowed.

Could you please help me to understand why and what could be the possible reason for the same.

Does it have any workaround to get this done?

Repro steps:

Data management -> Data Entities -> Project posted transaction -> Change tracking -> Enable change tracking / Disable change tracking

    The change tracking is managed via the SQL database change tracking options. When there is a view with multiple child data sources, then there is no unique reliable event to know that there was a change.

    A work around would be exporting the tables separately and combine it again for reporting.
