System Dashboard

I have created a system dashboard with views, all created through customisations. The views are based on posted fields. This is shared with the whole organisation, I can see all the data but other people are getting the following:

"There is no data to create the ... chart"

From my charts I can see plenty of data, everyone should be able to see that data, I don't think it is a security issue as the dashboard would say something like "you have insufficient privileges to view this data..."

Does anyone have any ideas? Any help would be awesome!

    Hi,

    The query doesn't mention owner but I actually think that is the issue, I don't think the uses have access to see the posted field because of the owner...weird though as they can access the posted field entity.

    The fields are owned by CRMInt Marketing, this is generated when people fill in a ClickDimensions form.

    Any idea how to get around this?

    Hi,

    Most likely some of the queries used to drive the charts in your dashboard are based on "My Accounts" or "My Activities", or in other words, record where the current user is the owner of the records being displayed.

    Double check the queries don't reference the owner or the business unit in any way.  Also, the error message would be "No data to create the chart" rather than insufficient permissions in this scenario.  Insufficient permissions will be displayed only when a user get a slink to a sepcific record or screen that they don't have access to view.
