Mobile Workspaces Deprecation - Replace

The Mobile workspaces have been deprecated as per this article: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/dynamics365/fin-ops-core/fin-ops/mobile-apps/mobile-workspaces-released

But I see that workspaces 'Invoice Approval' and 'Purchase Order approval' are both marked to be be replaced, does anyone know when this will be happening?

Hi Steve,

A while back, I provided some feedback to the product team working on the approvals. I don't know a specific date, but the current workspaces will be supported until October 2024. I didn't see any announcement in the release plans, so I think this could be probably part of the release plan 2024 wave 1, but not sure. That plan will describe features to be released between April and September 2024. I think around February 2024, Microsoft will reveal the new plans.

Hi Steve,
As Andre said, mobile workspace support will end in October 2024. Microsoft’s replacement for mobile workspace is Power Apps, as the blog states: Finance and Operations (Dynamics 365) mobile app to be deprecated - Microsoft Dynamics 365 Blog
You can create new mobile finance and operations experiences in Power Apps ahead of deadlines and use virtual tables in Power Platform to access financial Microsoft operations data.
Building mobile experiences based on financial and operational data is mentioned in the official documentation, you can check the documentation for details.
