Override the 'Date Sent' field on Email

Posted on by 3,497

Hi All,

I am doing a data-migration from an older system into CRM, and as such, I am importing the email records into the OOB Email entity.

Is there any SUPPORTED way of overriding/setting the 'Date Sent' (attr name: senton) field on the Email entity? (after creating the email record)

I noticed that this OOB field was getting auto-populated once the email is sent.

Thanks in advance!

I don't think there is a supported way to do this, as the senton attribute is not set a ValidForUpdate or ValidForCreate. It's not quite the same, but you can use overriddencreatedon to set the createdon attribute during an import.
