Why I can return items that not consumed to project

what about restrictions for the returns not to return anything that not consumed for the project?

    Can you elaborate and explain the question? Is your question about purchasing or delivering items? In the case or purchasing, is there an order directly linked to the project or do you consume items using an item journal?

    Yes we can consume items throw item journal and item requirement,
     
    But if I consume only item A I can normally return another item with same activity With cod B.
     
     
    So how can I restrict the returns to be only from items that are consumed within the quantity consumed?

    Hi Islam,
     
    I'm assuming that you are trying to avoid entering an item number for a return that was not consumed on the project before. Out of the box, there is no restriction for this. As I mentioned in one of your other questions, if you want to stop the user from entering the wrong details, it requires a customization to add a validation.
     
    I have seen a company before where that used the project module for creating event furniture. In case after the event, the furniture was approved for return and sale, a new item was created and posted to inventory, deducting the cost of the project. In this scenario, it should be possible to return an item that was not consumed.
